Graduate Students

If you are enrolled in any of the PhD programmes listed below,  GSCSA’s membership is automatic


Tallinn University: 1) studies of cultures; 2) history.


University of Tartu: 1) literature and cultural research; 2) history; 3) semiotics and culture studies (main subject culture and nature); 4) Germanic and Romance languages and literatures (main subject literature); 5) theology; 6) Russian and Slavonic Philology  (main subject literature); 7) philosophy (main subject history)


Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre: 1) musicology; 2) dramatic art; 3) music.


Estonian Academy of Arts: 1) art history; 2) art and design; 3) protection of cultural heritage and conservation; 4) architecture and town planning.


You are welcome to participate in all the activities of graduate school for free.

Travel and accommodation costs of participating at graduate school’s events are refunded. Please contact your home university for reimbursements. All original tickets, invoices and bank statements (if paid with debit or credit card, via bank link), IBAN of bank account must be presented.

During multiple day events, accommodation is provided by the organiser. Please notify the organizers promptly if you are not able to participate or the dates of your participation change. Booking your accommodation via organizers, please be informed that you agree to reimburse the cost of this accommodation, if you do not cancel your participation in due time.

Students of the MA programmes can participate at the events of the graduate school, but cannot become its members.
